BrAInpower

BrAInpower was on view at Rijksmuseum Boerhaave from September 9, 2022, to March 5, 2023. This exhibition shows where AI can be successfully deployed and how we reap the benefits, but also highlights the downsides. Guest curator Bas Haring acts as the guide in this exhibition, leading visitors through themes regarding free will, consistent reasoning, self-learning, and: how special are we, really? The various themes provide food for thought: how have computers and AI enriched our lives? And: what are the downsides? The exhibition addresses discriminatory data: how biased are algorithms? But it also examines the use of AI for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or for diagnosing cancer. Personal stories show how AI is omnipresent and what impact this has on our lives.

AI was used for the design of the exhibition and the design of
the campaign. The typography was generated and designed by AI.
