In 2015 Loes started her own practice where she is working for various commissioners in the cultural field such as musea and publishers. She has a strong focus on typography and editorial design and is interested in making books, exhibitions and identities. Besides her practice she is one half of the music-duo Mentaxis which she founded in 2015 as a graduation project. During her studies Loes initiated a post-academic collective: The Missing Collective and is a member of the Design Displacement Group since 2014. In the beginning of 2016 she teamed up with spacial designer/architect Stefan Voets and they periodically design exhibitions for musea together. In 2019 she received a master's degree at Werkplaats Typografie in Arnhem. Currently she is running her own practice in a studio in the centre of Amsterdam.
